Job Summary

The Career Adviser will work directly with job seekers to understand their career goals, review resumes, provide career guidance, prepare candidates for interviews, and support them throughout the job search process. The role requires excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the US job market.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct one-on-one career counseling sessions with candidates.
- Understand candidates' career goals, experience, and skill sets.
- Review and improve resumes according to US hiring standards.
- Help candidates optimize their LinkedIn profiles.
- Provide interview preparation, including mock interviews and feedback.
- Guide candidates on job search strategies and networking.
- Explain different US work authorizations (H-1B, GC, USC, OPT, CPT, H4-EAD, etc.).
- Coordinate with recruiters to match candidates with suitable opportunities.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Track candidate progress and maintain accurate records in the company database.

Required Skills

- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).




- Strong interpersonal and counseling skills.
- Good understanding of resume writing and LinkedIn optimization.
- Knowledge of the US recruitment process is preferred.
- Ability to motivate and guide candidates.
- Solid organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 0–3 years of experience in career counseling, recruitment, HR, or customer support.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply.
