Regional Manager (Technical Sales) – Civil

Job Summary

The Regional Manager (Sales) is responsible for achieving regional sales targets, managing a team of sales professionals, developing business opportunities, maintaining relationships with contractors, builders, consultants, architects, government departments, and distributors, and expanding the company's market presence.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Lead, mentor, and monitor Area Sales Managers, Sales Executives, and Channel Partners.
- Identify new business opportunities in infrastructure, residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Build strong relationships with contractors, builders, architects, consultants, developers, and government agencies.
- Manage key accounts and negotiate large-value contracts.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and monthly performance reports.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and monitor outstanding receivables.
- Coordinate with technical, production,



logistics, and customer support teams for smooth project execution.
- Participate in exhibitions, industry events, and client meetings.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve escalated issues.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Civil).
- MBA in Marketing or Sales (preferred).
- 8–15 years of experience in B2B sales within the construction or civil engineering industry.
- Experience in handling regional sales operations and managing sales teams.

Required Skills

- Solid sales and negotiation skills.

- Knowledge of construction materials, engineering products, and project sales.
- Relationship management and networking.
- Business development and strategic planning.
- CRM and Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per month

Experience:

- Civil engineering: 10 years (Required)
- Technical sales: 4 years (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (Preferred)
