About the role:

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Principal to lead Alpha to Omega Global School a Cambridge-affiliated institution in Tamil Nadu committed to academic excellence and inclusive education. You will be the school's top academic and administrative leader, serving as the designated Point of Contact with the Tamil Nadu School Education Department.

What you'll do

- Drive implementation of the full Cambridge pathway Checkpoints.
- Oversee scheme of work, assessment calendars, and centre management duties including examiner liaison
- Monitor academic outcomes and lead targeted intervention programmes

Government compliance & regulatory liaison (Point of Contact)

- Manage end-to-end compliance with Tamil Nadu School Education Department requirements annual returns, statutory filings, affiliation norms
- Maintain accurate records on EMIS and UDISE portals data entry, verification, and timely annual submissions
- Represent the school during departmental inspections and coordinate with DEO and allied government agencies
- Track G.O. (Government Orders) and policy circulars and ensure swift institutional compliance

Inclusive education

- Champion students with SLD, ADHD and other special educational needs
- Oversee Education Plans.
- Coordinate with special educators, counsellors,



and external specialists for multi-disciplinary student support

Staff, operations & community

- Lead, mentor, and appraise all staff; drive professional development aligned with Cambridge pedagogy
- Manage day-to-day operations scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, facilities
- Build transparent relationships with parents and represent the school to external partners and regulators

Non-negotiable requirements

- Postgraduate degree in Education or related field; (B.Ed. mandatory)
- 8–12+ years in education, with min. 3–5 years as Principal or Vice-Principal in a Cambridge/IGCSE school
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of Cambridge curriculum, assessment, and centre procedures
- Proficient with EMIS and UDISE experienced in data entry, verification, and annual submissions
- Solid understanding of Tamil Nadu School Education Department compliance requirements
- Working knowledge of SLD, ADHD, and inclusive education practices
- Excellent communication in English and Tamil

Preferred

- Familiarity with NEP 2020 and its implications for international schools in India

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
