Role:
As a database developer, you will analyse current database structure and identify data redundancy and design issues.
You will redesign tables, indexes, triggers, users to optimize code and support concurrent database processes.
You will understand code written in stored procedures (MSSQL) and make changes or suggest optimization techniques.
You will take ownership to migrate code from old versions of MS SQL to latest MS SQL 2025, and use latest AI enabled features for efficient code generation.
Experience/Skills:
Proven experience in solving complex business problems involving large data volumes
Hands-on experience of implementing optimization techniques, identifying cause of performance issues and best practices of writing optimized queries.
Implementation experience of database structures, stored procedures, and complex queries supporting multiple concurrent users.
Ability to understand existing code developed using database technologies (MSSQL stored procedures)
Valuable knowledge of Time Series databases
Positive understanding of latest AI features for efficient code generation.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a quick-paced environment.
