Key Responsibilities
Design & Modeling: Build 3D HVAC models and shop drawings in Autodesk Revit from concept to construction documents.
Calculations & Sizing: Perform cooling and heating load calculations, pressure drops, and airflow sizing.
Equipment Selection: Choose proper air handling units, fans, diffusers, and chillers.
Clash Detection: Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, and structural trades to explicit spatial conflicts.
Documentation: Extract material lists, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and project specifications
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelors or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
Experience: 3 to 8+ years in MEP or HVAC design.
Software Skills: Robust hands-on proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and clash tools like Navisworks.
Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with local and international building codes (ASHRAE, NBC, etc.).
