Role Description Business Development Manager IT is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata, responsible for driving growth across IT Solutions, hardware, software, and IT support services. This role involves identifying and pursuing recent business opportunities, building and maintaining robust client relationships, and promoting IT sales, AMCs, and consulting services to targeted markets. The Business Development Manager will conduct market research, prepare proposals, deliver presentations and demos, and negotiate contracts in line with company objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the sales pipeline, collaborating with technical and operations teams to tailor solutions, tracking performance metrics, ensuring payment collection and high levels of client satisfaction and retention. He/she has to meet customers throughout eastern part of India and develop business in this part of India.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, and account management.




Candidates should possess IT industry knowledge, including familiarity with hardware, software solutions, AMCs, and IT consulting services.
Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills, including client-facing presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
Candidates should possess analytical and planning skills, including market research, pipeline management, and reporting on sales performance.
Candidates should possess organizational and collaboration skills, including time management, cross-functional coordination, and attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Electronics & Telecommunication, MCA (or equivalent relevant experience) is preferred.
Prior experience in IT services or IT consulting business development, especially with SMEs, is highly beneficial.
Comfort working in an in office environment primarily in Kolkata and Eastern part of India willingness to travel locally for client meetings as needed.
