Role & responsibilities

We are looking for detail-oriented freshers to join our growing OTT media accessibility team at SKEPICK Global Services, Rajnagar Ops Office, Uppal, Hyderabad.

You will work on Closed Captioning (CC), Subtitling, and Audio Description (AD) quality checks for transcribed and translated English content of web series being delivered to leading OTT platforms.

Day-to-day responsibilities include
Reviewing subtitle files against video content for accuracy and sync
Checking that on-screen text (messages, news tickers, title cards) is correctly captured in the subtitle file
Verifying sound and music descriptions match the actual audio
Identifying and flagging dialogue errors, timing issues, and formatting problems
Making minor text corrections as per client style guidelines
Working with internal tools and scripts to process subtitle files
Coordinating with the senior team on QC feedback and revisions
Meeting daily delivery targets for episode processing

Note:



Full training will be provided. No prior CC or subtitling experience is required. Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Preferred candidate profile
Any graduate or equivalent preferred
0 to 1 year of experience freshers actively encouraged to apply
Robust command of English reading, writing, and comprehension
Good eye for detail with ability to spot errors in text and timing
Comfortable watching and reviewing video content for extended periods
Basic computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and internet tools
Quick and accurate typing speed (minimum 30 WPM)
Familiarity with OTT platforms (Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hotstar) is a plus
Having Transcription / Captioning skills is an advantage but not mandatory. Positive hearing & auditory skills are mandatory.
Ability to continuously wear earphones / headsets for long periods is required
