Shriram Montessori School is seeking a passionate, caring, and enthusiastic Hindi Teacher who is committed to nurturing a love for the Hindi language within a Montessori setting. The ideal candidate understands that language learning is not limited to textbooks but is developed through meaningful conversations, stories, songs, hands-on activities, and real-life experiences.

The teacher will receive ongoing training and support to understand and implement Montessori philosophy and practices.

Key ResponsibilitiesHindi Language Instruction

- Teach Hindi to students from Grades 1–7 using engaging, activity-based lessons.
- Develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Foster confidence and enjoyment in learning Hindi.
- Incorporate stories, poetry, songs, drama, games, and cultural experiences into lessons.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of mixed-age and mixed-ability learners.
- Encourage conversation and practical use of Hindi in everyday situations.

Montessori Environment

- Work collaboratively with Montessori guides to integrate Hindi naturally into the prepared environment.
- Respect each child's individual pace of learning.
- Observe students carefully and provide appropriate guidance rather than direct instruction whenever possible.
- Encourage independence, curiosity, and self-directed learning.
- Maintain a calm, orderly, and respectful classroom atmosphere.

Classroom Preparation

- Prepare attractive and developmentally appropriate learning materials.
- Create hands-on activities aligned with Montessori principles.
- Maintain classroom organization and ensure materials are complete and accessible.

Student Assessment

- Observe student progress continuously.
- Maintain accurate records of each child's language development.
- Provide constructive feedback to parents and classroom guides.
- Prepare progress reports as required.

Collaboration

- Work closely with Montessori classroom teachers.
- Participate in staff meetings, curriculum planning, and professional development.




- Support school events, cultural celebrations, and language-related activities.

Montessori Philosophy Support

Previous Montessori experience is not required.

QualificationsRequired

- Bachelor's degree in Hindi, Education, or a related field.
- Fluency in spoken and written Hindi.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Passion for working with children.
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn Montessori philosophy.

Preferred

- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Hindi to primary or middle school students.
- Experience in activity-based or experiential learning environments.
- Montessori certification or experience (preferred but not mandatory).
