Job Summary
The Senior Python Tester plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications by executing comprehensive testing processes. This position is essential for maintaining the high standards of software quality required to meet client expectations and drive business success. The Senior Tester will leverage their expertise in Python and testing methodologies to enhance the overall testing strategy and support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Create And Review Test Cases Using Python And Selenium Based On Functional Specifications And Software Requirement Specification Documents To Ensure Thorough Coverage Of Application Functionalities.
2. Execute Functional Testing Scripts Written In Python To Validate The Software'S Adherence To Predefined Requirements And To Discover Defects Prior To Deployment.
3. Contribute To The Development Of Test Plans By Providing Insights And Recommendations Based On The Assigned Work, Ensuring Effective Testing Strategies Are In Place.
4. Track And Analyze Test Coverage, Defect Density, And Other Relevant Metrics Using Python Scripts And Reporting Tools,



Publishing Progress Reports To Stakeholders To Inform Them Of Testing Status And Quality Levels.
5. Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams For Discussions On Testing Strategies And Interact With Clients To Provide Updates On Testing Progress And Gather Feedback.
Skill Requirements
1. Strong Understanding Of Python Programming And Its Application In Test Automation.
2. Familiarity With Selenium For Automated Testing Of Web Applications.
3. Basic Knowledge Of Unix Shell Scripting To Support Testing Environments And Automation Tasks.
4. Experience In Creating And Reviewing Test Cases Based On Software Requirements.
5. Positive Analytical Skills To Evaluate Test Results And Provide Actionable Insights.
Other Requirements
1. Optional But Valuable: Istqb Foundation Level Certification Or Equivalent Testing Certification.
