Job Overview

Shree Bafna Public School is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated PGT Humanities Teacher (History and Political Science) to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching senior secondary classes (11th & 12th), fostering a deep understanding of human society, culture, history, and civic responsibilities, and preparing students effectively for their board examinations and future academic pursuits.

Key Responsibilities

- Academic Delivery: Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Humanities subjects (such as History, Political Science, Geography, Sociology, or Economics, depending on specialization) aligned with the school’s curriculum framework.
- Board Preparation: Guide and mentor Class 11 and 12 students for their board exams through thorough concept mapping, regular testing, answer-writing practice, and performance analysis.
- Lesson Planning: Design comprehensive lesson plans, study materials, and assignments that cater to diverse learning styles and encourage critical thinking.
- Assessment & Evaluation: Regularly assess students’ academic progress through tests, projects, and assignments; provide constructive feedback and implement remedial strategies for struggling students.
- Classroom Management:



Maintain a disciplined, safe, and positive learning environment that encourages open discussion, debate, and intellectual curiosity.
- Co-curricular Support: Organize and participate in departmental events, quizzes, debates, model parliaments (MUNs), and educational trips.
- Parent Communication: Conduct regular updates and participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) to discuss student progress and behavioral development.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Post Graduation (M.A.) in a relevant Humanities subject (History/Political Science/Geography/Sociology) from a recognized university.
- Professional Degree: B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of experience teaching senior secondary classes (PGT level) in a reputed English medium school.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using modern teaching tools, smartboards, and online educational platforms.
