Substation Operations:

- Support routine and breakdown maintenance activities for 66 kV substations.
- Ensure substation equipment (breakers, isolators, CTs, PTs, relays) are operating within defined parameters.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and protection coordination.
- Maintain logs, SOPs, and compliance documentation for regulatory audits.

Transmission Line Maintenance:

- Conduct patrolling and periodic inspections of 66 kV transmission lines.
- Identify right-of-way issues, vegetation management needs, and tower integrity concerns.
- Support shutdown planning and maintenance work execution.

Technical & Safety Compliance:

- Adhere to statutory and internal safety protocols.
- Participate in safety audits, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
- Maintain equipment performance logs, testing records, and calibration data.

Team Coordination & Supervision:

- Supervise contractors and field staff during routine operations and projects.
- Liaise with load dispatch centers, control rooms,



and engineering teams.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination for planned and unplanned outages.

Project Support:

- Assist in new substation or line installation projects (66 kV scope).
- Participate in material verification, site readiness, and progress monitoring.
- Report project status to management and flag risks or delays.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 6–7 years of relevant experience in 66 kV substation and transmission line O&M.;
- Working knowledge of protection systems, SCADA, and testing protocols.
- Familiar with safety norms like IS/IEC standards, CEA regulations.
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD basics, and power system software tools (ETAP/PSCAD – optional).
- Robust analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
