Job Summary

The Lab Technician will be responsible for the productive operation and maintenance of ECE laboratories, assisting faculty members during practical sessions, supporting students in laboratory experiments and projects, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare laboratories before practical sessions and ensure all equipment is operational.
- Assist faculty members during laboratory classes, internal assessments, practical examinations, workshops, and project demonstrations.
- Install, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot electronic laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Maintain laboratory stock registers, issue registers,



asset registers, maintenance logs, and equipment records.
- Monitor laboratory consumables and coordinate procurement requirements.
- Assist students with laboratory experiments, mini projects, major projects, and prototype development.
- Support departmental activities such as workshops, seminars, FDPs, hackathons, technical events, and research initiatives.
- Coordinate with vendors for preventive maintenance and servicing of laboratory equipment.
- Ensure laboratories comply with AICTE, JNTUH, NBA, and institutional quality standards.
- Maintain laboratory safety, cleanliness, and proper storage of instruments and electronic components.

Required Technical Skills

- Good knowledge of Analog and Digital Electronics.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments such as:
- Oscilloscope (CRO/DSO)
- Digital Multimeter
- Function Generator
- Regulated Power Supply




- Spectrum Analyzer
- Logic Analyzer
- Knowledge of Microprocessors, Microcontrollers (8051, ARM, Arduino), Embedded Systems, and IoT concepts.
- Familiarity with PCB soldering, circuit testing, and troubleshooting.
- Exposure to simulation software such as MATLAB, Proteus, Multisim, Keil, Xilinx, or equivalent is desirable.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.

- Prior experience in an engineering college laboratory or electronics industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of AICTE, JNTUH, and NBA laboratory requirements will be an added advantage.
- Experience in supporting hardware-based student projects and technical competitions is desirable.

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and ACE Engineering College norms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
