We are looking for a Design Engineer with 25 years of experience in robotic welding fixtures, BIW fixtures, and SPM design. The candidate should be capable of handling complete design activities from concept to final manufacturing drawings using Solid Edge.

Roles & Responsibilities
Design robotic welding fixtures, BIW fixtures, assembly fixtures, and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs).
Create 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and assembly drawings using Solid Edge.
Develop fixture concepts based on customer requirements and product data.
Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, BOM, and assembly documentation.
Select standard components such as clamps, pneumatic cylinders, guide units, sensors, and locators.
Coordinate with manufacturing, assembly, quality, and customers during project execution.




Support fixture assembly, trials, debugging, and design modifications.
Ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and delivered within project timelines.

Required Skills
25 years of experience in welding fixture, BIW fixture, or SPM design.
knowledge of Solid Edge.
Understanding of welding processes and fixture design principles.
Knowledge of pneumatic components and standard bought-out parts.
Ability to prepare BOM and manufacturing drawings.
Positive communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
