Primary Responsibilities:
As a Stock Room Assistant, your key responsibilities include: ? Manage Stockroom: Ensure the stockroom runs smoothly according to M&S; procedures. ? Handle Deliveries: Check and unpack deliveries, match them with paperwork, and highlight any issues like shortages or damage. ? Organize Stock: Store stock in the correct locations and keep it accessible and protected. Ensure the physical stock matches the quantity on cartons. ? Track Stock: Keep track of stock levels and locations. Rotate and replenish stock regularly. ? Complete Paperwork: Fill out and file paperwork accurately and on time. ? Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the stockroom organized and tidy, and manage non-saleable items like POS materials. ? Assist with Stock Takes: Help with stock counts and preparation. ? Improve Systems: Contribute to improving stock storage and control systems. ? Physical Work: Be prepared for physical tasks,



including lifting heavy boxes and performing various movements.
