Job Summary

The Store Assistant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the resort stores by receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory of food & beverage, housekeeping, engineering, and other operational supplies. The role ensures accurate stock records, timely material issuance, and compliance with inventory control procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
Store materials systematically and ensure proper labeling and secure storage.
Issue materials to departments against approved requisitions.
Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, and inventory balances.
Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) for perishable and consumable items.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and report discrepancies.




Monitor stock levels and notify the Store Manager of reorder requirements.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the store area.
Coordinate with the Purchase and Finance teams for documentation and inventory reconciliation.
Ensure compliance with resort policies and inventory control procedures.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Commerce, or a related field.
25 years of experience in hotel or resort stores/inventory management.
Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management software.
Knowledge of hotel inventory practices, stock control, and FIFO methodology
