Role Overview

The Director & Deputy Dean (UG Programs) will lead the undergraduate business school with a strong focus on academic excellence, industry alignment, and student outcomes. This role demands a hands-on leader who can drive scale, improve quality, and build a future-ready business education ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead academic planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of undergraduate programs (BBA, B.Com, etc.)
- Drive curriculum innovation with integration of technology, analytics, and emerging business trends
- Build strong industry linkages for internships, live projects, and placements
- Enhance student employability through outcome-driven pedagogy
- Lead faculty recruitment, mentoring, and performance management
- Implement digital tools for academic delivery (LMS, AI-based learning platforms, simulations)
- Strengthen branding, admissions quality, and student engagement
- Drive accreditations, rankings, and institutional partnerships




- Act as a key contributor in strategic decision-making at the School level

Candidate Profile

- Ph.D. in Management / Business / allied discipline (preferred)
- 12–18 years of experience with a mix of academia and corporate exposure
- Prior experience in leading undergraduate programs at a reputed institution
- Strong industry connect and understanding of employability trends
- Demonstrated experience in managing scale and improving academic outcomes
- Tech-savvy: familiarity with EdTech platforms, analytics tools, and digital learning ecosystems
- Experience in handling challenging environments, scaling programs, or turning around underperforming units will be a strong advantage
