Roles & Responsibility

The AVP Supply Chain will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This includes managing procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationships. The role requires developing strategic plans to optimize supply chain processes, implementing best practices, and utilizing data-driven insights to drive improvements. The AVP will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain strategies with business goals, monitor performance metrics, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, they will mentor and guide supply chain teams, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and compliance across all operations.

Requirements





Applicants for the AVP Supply Chain position should possess a minimum of 10 years and up to 17 years of relevant experience in supply chain management or operations. A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is required, while a master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred. Candidates must demonstrate robust analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in supply chain software and tools. Excellent leadership qualities, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, along with a proven track record of managing large teams and driving organizational change. Knowledge of global supply chain trends and regulations is also important.
