Job Description:

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Operate VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines to manufacture precision mechanical components.
Perform machine setup, tool loading, fixture setup, and offset adjustments for production runs.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and machining instructions.
Monitor machining operations to ensure accuracy, surface finish, and dimensional tolerance.
Conduct in-process inspections using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Maintain production records and machine parameter documentation.
Identify and report machine malfunctions, tool wear, or quality issues to the supervisor.
Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure cleanliness of the work area.
Follow company safety guidelines and quality standards during operations.




Coordinate with the quality control and production teams to meet daily production targets.

Required Skills & Competencies
Hands-on experience in VMC machine operation.
Ability to read technical drawings and understand machining tolerances.
Knowledge of cutting tools, fixtures, and tool offset adjustments.
Basic understanding of CNC programming (G-code / M-code) is an advantage.
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
Solid attention to accuracy, quality, and detail.
Ability to work in a manufacturing setting with shift operations.

Educational Qualification
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Machinist / CNC Operator or equivalent technical qualification.
