Job Description:

The Senior BI Developer (Microsoft Stack) is responsible for designing, building, and managing end-to-end Business Intelligence solutions using Microsoft technologies. The role involves developing robust data models, implementing ETL/ELT pipelines, building interactive reports, and optimizing the organization’s data ecosystem to deliver actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design and Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain data warehouses using SQL Server or Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Build ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Azure Data Factory (ADF), or other Microsoft tools.
• Develop and deploy highly interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Create and maintain tabular and multidimensional models in SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and IT teams,



to ensure alignment on deliverables.
Data Governance and Quality Assurance:
• Implement data governance best practices, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all BI solutions.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for BI solutions, including data models, ETL workflows, and reporting processes.
System Optimization and Maintenance:
• Optimize database performance, including query tuning, indexing, and storage strategies.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues across BI systems.
• Ensure scalability and high availability of BI systems.
Leadership and Mentoring:
• Mentor junior developers, fostering best practices in BI development and Microsoft stack usage.
• Lead BI-related projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
