We are looking for a skilled Python Developer to join our growing engineering team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have strong hands -on experience in Python development, a solid understanding of object -oriented design, and experience building and consuming RESTful APIs. You will collaborate closely with cross -functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high -quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high -performance Python applications.
- Write clean, modular, and well -documented code following best engineering practices.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs using appropriate HTTP methods.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver end -to -end solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and issue resolution.
- Follow version control best practices using Git and collaborative workflows.
- Contribute to improving development standards, tools, and processes.
- Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications in production environments.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience (Must Have)
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in software development.
- Solid understanding of Object -Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design principles.
- Hands -on experience with Git and standard version control workflows.
- Proven experience in REST API development, including working with HTTP methods and libraries such as requests.
- Good problem -solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, Agile development setting.
Preferred / Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated build/deployment processes.
- Working knowledge of Docker and containerized application development.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
