The Programme Associate – Awareness & Events plays a critical role in the on -ground implementation of Foundation’s awareness, outreach, and engagement initiatives. The role focuses on community mobilisation, event coordination, student outreach, and stakeholder engagement to strengthen programme visibility, participation, and impact. The Programme Associate acts as a key link between programme planning and execution—working closely with communities, internal teams, and partners to ensure that awareness activities and events are delivered with quality, sensitivity, and alignment to organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Programme Implementation and Event Coordination
- Support the Programme Manager in planning and executing awareness campaigns, workshops, and events as per defined timelines and SOPs
- Coordinate logistics for on -ground and off -site events including venues, participants, partners, and volunteers
- Ensure smooth day -to -day execution of awareness and engagement activities
- Document event outcomes, learnings, and feedback for programme improvement
- Track and document programme progress, challenges, and learnings to support ongoing improvement.

Community Outreach & Mobilisation
- Lead outreach activities to engage PwIDDs, caregivers, institutions, and community stakeholders through field visits and awareness sessions
- Support mobilization for programme enrolments, workshops, and public events
- Coordinate with the Communications team to amplify outreach through digital and offline channels
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships
- Liaise with schools, NGOs, corporates, RWAs, and local institutions to support awareness initiatives
- Maintain relationships with external stakeholders to ensure sustained engagemen
- Support representation of Foundation at community events, fairs, and public forums
4. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
- Support data collection and documentation for awareness and event -based programmes
- Maintain participant attendance, engagement records, and feedback
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly internal reports and donor -facing documentation
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry into MIS systems
5. Communications & Visibility Support
- Share photographs, stories, testimonials, and insights from events with the Communications team
- Support content requirements for newsletters, social media, donor updates, and the Annual Report
- Assist in capturing impact narratives from beneficiaries and partners
6. Administrative & Operational Support
- Support administrative processes related to event planning, permissions, documentation, and compliance
- Assist Programme Manager with reporting, due diligence, and coordination requirements
- Ensure adherence to safeguarding, inclusion, and organizational protocols
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Education, Sustainability, Social Work, or related fields.
- Experience: 2 -3 years of relevant work experience (mandatory); Prior experience in programme implementation, awareness campaigns, events or community mobilization is preferred
