About the role
We are looking for a Senior SMSF Accountant to join our Stake Super team in Pune, India.
Stake Super is helping reshape how Australians engage with self-managed superannuation. As the business continues to grow, we're building a high-performing team focused on delivering exceptional customer outcomes while simplifying an industry that has traditionally been complex and fragmented.
As a Senior SMSF Accountant, you'll play a key role in managing a growing portfolio of SMSF customers and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality financial statements, tax returns and compliance obligations.
You'll combine technical expertise with strong stakeholder management, helping customers navigate significant milestones while supporting the continued growth and operational excellence of the business.
This role offers meaningful ownership and the prospect to influence how Stake delivers SMSF services at scale. You'll work closely with Customer Success, Operations and Accounting teams across the business, contributing to process improvements, customer experience initiatives and the continued evolution of our SMSF offering. This role is fully remote.

Within your first two years, you'll have:
Built trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, consistently delivering high-quality SMSF accounting outcomes
Managed a growing portfolio of SMSF customers while maintaining solid standards of accuracy, timeliness and compliance
Delivered annual financial statements, tax returns and regulatory obligations efficiently
