The PGT Physics teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to Classes XI & XII in alignment with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum. The role focuses on building solid conceptual foundations, problem-solving skills, and preparing students for board and competitive examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver Physics lessons as per CBSE syllabus for Grades 11 & 12.
Teach core topics such as Mechanics, Electrodynamics, Optics, Thermodynamics, and Contemporary Physics.
Prepare students for CBSE board examinations using structured revision and practice strategies.
Design and evaluate question papers, assignments, and internal assessments aligned with CBSE guidelines.
Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations, ensuring safety and accuracy.
Help students develop analytical and numerical problem-solving skills.
Provide remedial coaching and academic support to students as required.
Maintain records of student progress, attendance, and internal assessments.
Integrate digital tools and simulations to enhance conceptual understanding.
Support students preparing for competitive exams like JEE and NEET (foundation level).
Participate in staff meetings, academic planning, and parent-teacher interactions.
Required Qualifications:
M.Sc. in Physics (mandatory)
B.Ed. (mandatory as per CBSE norms)
Experience:
3 to 5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school
Experience teaching Classes XI & XII is essential
Skills Required:
Strong command of Physics concepts and CBSE curriculum
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Ability to simplify complex numerical and theoretical concepts
Experience in board exam preparation and result-oriented teaching
Familiarity with digital teaching tools and smart classrooms
Preferred Skills:
Experience in coaching for JEE/NEET
Ability to use simulations and practical demonstrations effectively
Strong mentoring and student engagement abilities
Salary:
As per CBSE school standards / commensurate with experience
