Job Title: Student Admission Counsellor / Advisor
Location: ITEKSUL, Shastri Nagar, Pune
Reports To: Founder / Director / Manager

Job Overview

The Student Admission Counsellor / Advisor is responsible for guiding students in selecting suitable programs, facilitating a smooth admissions process, addressing queries, and maintaining accurate records. The counsellor serves as an essential connection between students, faculty, and administrative teams.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
Academic and Program Advising
Conduct individual counselling sessions (in-person or telephonic) to understand student needs, provide guidance on class schedules, program structure and recommend appropriate courses or programs.
Assist through the admission and enrollment procedures.
Liaison and Coordination
Act as a bridge between students, faculty, and administrative staff.
Address and resolve student concerns.
Record Keeping and Reporting
Maintain accurate and updated records of student interactions.
Prepare periodic reports for management review.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies.

Qualifications & Skills
Education




Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (mandatory).
Experience
Prior experience in student counselling or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Solid active listening and interpersonal abilities.
Valuable organizational and time-management skills.
Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Proficiency in multiple languages is a solid advantage.
Comfortable working with software tools, CRM systems, databases, and communication platforms.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
Pune, Maharashtra (Pune, Pune District): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
