The Patent Analyst will be responsible for conducting thorough patent searches, analyzing patent landscapes, and providing detailed technical insights related to polymer science and engineering innovations. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in Polymer Science or Polymer Engineering, combined with excellent analytical and research skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patent searches using various databases and tools.
Analyze patent documents to identify relevant patents and assess their impact on current and future projects.
Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and providing strategic insights.
Create and maintain patent landscapes to identify trends, white spaces, and potential opportunities.
Monitor competitors' patent activities and provide competitive intelligence.
Assist in drafting and reviewing patent applications, ensuring technical accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Polymer Science or Polymer Engineering.
1 to 3 years of experience in patent analysis, preferably within the Polymer Engineering sector.
Strong understanding of patent laws and procedures.
Proficiency in using patent search tools and databases (e.g., USPTO, EPO, WIPO).
Excellent research and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
