Software Tester

Key Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs.
Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Perform Manual Testing for web and mobile applications.
Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts.
Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and UAT testing.
Conduct API testing and validate backend integrations.
Identify, log, track,



and verify defects using bug tracking tools.
Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and UI/UX teams to improve product quality.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and best testing practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in Software Testing (Manual & Automation).
Strong expertise in writing clear, structured, and comprehensive test cases.
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as:Selenium WebDriver, Cypress / Playwright, Appium (for mobile testing)
Experience in API testing using Postman / Rest Assured.
Valuable understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
Experience in defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
Familiarity with Git/version control systems.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills
Experience in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter).
Experience in testing mobile apps (Android/iOS).
Understanding of BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
Exposure to cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
