6 lakh per annum base + 0.25 % of aum

Job Summary

The role involves conducting in-depth research, making investment decisions, monitoring portfolio performance, managing risks, and communicating investment strategies to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and monitor assigned investment portfolios.
- Construct and rebalance portfolios in line with the investment strategy.
- Allocate capital across sectors, industries, and individual securities.
- Optimize portfolio risk-return characteristics.
- Ensure compliance with investment mandates and regulatory requirements.

Investment Research

- Perform fundamental analysis of companies, industries, and macroeconomic trends.
- Analyze financial statements, earnings calls, annual reports, and industry data.
- Build financial models and valuation frameworks.
- Generate actionable investment ideas with clear risk-reward assessments.

Risk Management

- Monitor portfolio exposures and concentration risks.
- Assess liquidity, valuation, and macroeconomic risks.
- Recommend portfolio adjustments based on changing market conditions.
- Ensure adherence to internal risk limits.

Performance Monitoring

- Track portfolio returns against benchmarks.
- Analyze attribution of performance.
- Review investment decisions and refine strategies.
- Maintain high standards of portfolio discipline.

Investment Committee Participation

- Present investment ideas and portfolio recommendations.
- Defend investment theses using quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Participate in portfolio review meetings.
- Document investment rationale and decisions.

Compliance & Governance

- Ensure adherence to SEBI regulations and internal investment policies.
- Maintain proper documentation for investment decisions.




- Coordinate with compliance and operations teams.
- Support internal and external audits.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

- Explain investment philosophy and portfolio positioning.
- Participate in investor meetings, webinars, and presentations.
- Prepare periodic investment commentaries and market outlooks.
- Address client queries related to portfolio strategy.

Market Intelligence

- Stay updated on economic developments, industry trends, and corporate actions.
- Monitor global markets and policy changes.
- Identify emerging investment opportunities and risks.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business, or a related field.
- Masters in finance , MBA (Finance), CFA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification Required
- Relevant certifications as required under applicable SEBI regulations are desirable.

Experience

- MINIMUM 5 years of experience in equity research, portfolio management, asset management, or investment advisory.

- Strong knowledge of equity markets and financial statement analysis.
- Expertise in valuation techniques (DCF, Comparable Companies, EV/EBITDA, P/E, etc.).
- Portfolio construction and asset allocation skills.
- Risk management and performance attribution.
- Financial modeling and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
