Key Responsibilities1. Teaching & Curriculum Delivery
Teach Social Science subjects (History/Sociology/Political Science/Economics) to classes XI–XII as per CBSE guidelines.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and instructional strategies to enhance learning.
Use contemporary teaching methods, digital tools, and interactive techniques to improve classroom engagement.
Assessment & Evaluation
Conduct formative and summative assessments.
Prepare question papers, evaluate answer sheets, and maintain student records.
Provide constructive feedback to students to support academic improvement.
Classroom Management
Maintain a disciplined, positive, and inclusive classroom setting.
Encourage debates, group work, discussions, and project-based learning to build analytical thinking.
Student Mentoring
Guide students in academic and personal development.
Support students preparing for board examinations and competitive exams.
Identify learning gaps and provide remedial classes when needed.




Professional Responsibilities
Attend staff meetings, subject enrichment programs, workshops, and trainings.
Participate actively in school events, celebrations, and academic committees.
Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge and stay aligned with CBSE updates.
Administrative Duties
Maintain lesson plan records, mark registers, and academic documentation.
Coordinate with parents during PTMs regarding student performance and progress.

Qualifications
Master’s Degree in History/Sociology/Political Science/Economics (relevant specialization).
B.Ed. is mandatory.
Prior experience teaching senior secondary classes (preferred 3–5 years).
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Proficiency in ICT-based teaching.
