Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Factory Accountant to manage the financial operations and inventory accounting for our sofa manufacturing business. In this role, you will handle day-to-day accounting, track production costs, manage material and inventory accounting, handle supplier payments, and assist with tax/GST compliance. The ideal candidate has solid hands-on experience in manufacturing unit accounting, cost analysis, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain complete day-to-day accounting records, general ledgers, and financial transactions.
Track production costs, raw material usage (timber, foam, fabrics, hardware), labor costs, and operational overheads.
Manage stock/inventory accounting and perform regular physical stock audits against system records.
Process vendor/supplier invoices, manage accounts payable/receivable, and execute timely payment follow-ups.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, profit & loss reports, and balance sheets.
Manage tax filings (GST, TDS, local tax compliance) and ensure regulatory compliance.




Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and ledger accounts regularly.
Coordinate with internal production teams and external auditors or financial advisors.

Requirements & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Prior accounting experience within a manufacturing, production, or furniture workshop environment is strongly preferred.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime, QuickBooks, or ERP systems) and MS Excel.
Solid understanding of inventory valuation, cost accounting, and tax regulations (GST, TDS).
High accuracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
