Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival with a positive attitude and genuine hospitality
Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times clearly to guests
Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information and taking reservations as needed
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area
Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless guest flow and timely seating
Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, accommodating special requests, and fostering guest relations
Qualifications
Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred
Solid customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette to interact effectively with guests and team members
Familiarity with restaurant POS systems.
Proven organizational skills to manage reservations, seating charts, and guest flow efficiently
Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices
Previous hotel or guest services experience is advantageous but not required
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude
