Optometrist – Job Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and eye health.
Perform refraction tests and prescribe corrective lenses (spectacles and contact lenses).
Diagnose common vision problems such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia.
Assist in the detection of eye diseases and refer patients to ophthalmologists when necessary.
Evaluate and fit contact lenses and provide proper usage instructions.
Counsel patients on eye care, vision correction options, and preventive eye health practices.
Operate and maintain ophthalmic diagnostic equipment.
Interpret vision test results and maintain accurate patient records.
Assist ophthalmologists during eye screenings and clinical procedures.




Conduct vision screenings for schools, organizations, and community health programs.
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
Maintain inventory of optical products and diagnostic supplies, if required.
Stay updated with advancements in optometry and vision care.

Qualification
B.Optom / M.Optom (Bachelor's or Master's in Optometry)
Valid registration as per applicable regulations

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
