Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to manage day-to-day transportation operations, coordinate vehicle movement, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain smooth communication between customers, transporters, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate dispatches and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Arrange transportation through approved transport vendors.
Track vehicle movement and shipment status until delivery.
Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, transporters, and customers.
Resolve transportation and delivery-related issues promptly.
Ensure Proof of Delivery (POD) is collected and maintained.
Maintain accurate shipment and dispatch records.
Monitor freight costs and optimize transportation expenses.
Follow up with transporters for vehicle placement and timely dispatch.
Coordinate with the Sales team regarding delivery schedules and customer commitments.




Update customers on shipment status whenever required.
Ensure all dispatch documents are complete and accurate.
Handle delivery escalations and coordinate for quick resolution.
Maintain daily logistics MIS and reports.
Ensure compliance with company logistics procedures and safety guidelines.

Required Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

Basic understanding of transportation documentation.

Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or any related field.

Experience
5–10+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or dispatch operations.
Experience in the Steel, Manufacturing, Building Materials, Cement, Construction, Metals, or Industrial Products industry is preferred.
