Job Description (Tally Prime Focused)

An Accounts Executive handles day-to-day financial operations using Tally Prime. This role manages financial data entry, processes payments, ensures GST/TDS compliance, and reconciles balances. The goal is to maintain flawless data hygiene and provide real-time visibility into company accounts.

Key Responsibilities
Tally Prime Operations: Create, modify, and manage all accounting ledgers, cost centers, and inventory items accurately within Tally Prime.
Voucher Management: Post daily accounting vouchers in Tally, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries, and contra entries. [1, 2, 3]
Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor bills in Tally, verify bill-to-ship details, and schedule payments through NEFT/RTGS bank portals.
Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate and dispatch customer tax invoices using Tally, track aging schedules, and coordinate outstanding debt collections.
Banking & Reconciliation: Execute automated or manual bank reconciliation statements (BRS) directly inside Tally Prime on a weekly basis.
Taxation & Compliance: Compute, book, and cross-verify GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)



and TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) entries using Tally’s built-in statutory features.
Financial Reporting: Extract accurate Trial Balances, Profit & Loss statements, and Balance Sheets from Tally for management and CA reviews.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Graduate in Commerce (B.Com) or related financial stream.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of dedicated corporate experience working extensively on Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime.
Technical Skills: Advanced practical knowledge of Tally Prime (including inventory features, shortcut keys, and e-invoicing/e-way bill generation).
MS Excel Skills: Ability to export data from Tally to Excel and apply basic tools like VLOOKUP and Filters for analysis.
Competencies: Solid integrity, strict attention to numerical data entry errors, and a high level of accountability.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
