Position: Residential Butler
Location: NRI Complex, Kolkata
Residence: 5-Bedroom Private Residence
Employment Type: Full-Time (Live-Out / Live-In as per discussion)

Role Overview

We are seeking a well-groomed, proactive, and detail-oriented Residential Butler to manage the day-to-day hospitality and household operations of a luxury 5-bedroom private residence. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in luxury hotels or private residences and possess strong organizational and inventory management skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver exceptional butler and hospitality services to the family and their guests.
- Manage household inventories, including groceries, beverages, housekeeping supplies, and household essentials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and prepare stock reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Coordinate ordering and replenishment of household supplies while ensuring cost-effective purchasing.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement and deliveries.
- Ensure all household areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and readiness.




- Assist with formal and informal food & beverage service when required.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other household staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Handle guest arrivals, refreshments, and hospitality arrangements.
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion at all times.

Candidate Profile

- Previous experience as a Residential Butler, Personal Butler, House Manager, or Butler in a luxury 5-star hotel.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (mandatory) for inventory tracking and ordering.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and procurement processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well-groomed with a skilled appearance and positive attitude.
- Highly organized, trustworthy, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high service standards.

Preferred Background

- Experience in luxury hotels such as Taj, Oberoi, ITC, Marriott, Hyatt, Leela, or similar, or private residences/UHNI households.
- Experience managing household inventories and vendor coordination will be an added advantage.
