Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Quality Assurance with solid hands-on experience in Stamping and Welding Processes. Candidates must have worked in the Automotive/Sheet Metal Manufacturing Industry. Experience in non-manufacturing industries will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Quality Assurance activities for Stamping and Welding Processes.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, customer-specific requirements, and internal quality standards.
- Handle customer complaints, warranty issues, and drive corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
- Lead Root Cause Analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, Why-Why Analysis, and implement permanent solutions.
- Prepare and maintain APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC, and other Core Quality Tools.
- Monitor process capability, rejection, rework, and PPM; implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Conduct Process Audits, Product Audits, Layered Process Audits (LPA), and Internal Audits.
- Support new product development, trial validation, and PPAP submissions.
- Ensure calibration of measuring instruments and gauge management.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Supplier Quality teams.
- Lead customer audits and quality review meetings.

Stamping Process Quality Experience (Mandatory)
Welding Process Quality Experience (Mandatory)
Automotive / Sheet Metal Manufacturing Experience (Mandatory)
IATF 16949 & Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan)
GD&T; & Engineering Drawing Interpretation
8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, CAPA & Problem-Solving Techniques
Customer Complaint Handling & Quality Improvement

Team Handling & Cross-Functional Coordination

Preferred Industry

✔ Sheet Metal Manufacturing (Highly Preferred)
✔ Automotive / Auto Components (Tier-1/OEM)

Only candidates with hands-on experience in both Stamping and Welding Quality from the Automotive/Sheet Metal Manufacturing Industry will be considered. Candidates without relevant manufacturing experience are requested not to apply.

Pay: Up to ₹700,000.00 per year
