Primary Objective of Position: Work in coordination with TL and Lead Engineers on R&D; projects assignments for Embedded Hardware Design and Firmware development,Prototype development, Pre-compliance & functional testing,Production support to maintain desired quality levels set by organization.
Responsibilities:
- Work on selected embedded hardware design and Firmware development projects as a member of R&D; team, with minimal supervision.
- Capture /document hardware and Firmware requirement for the projects.
- Prepare detail design documents, Schematic, Simulation, Bill Of Material, Test Plan &Test; Reports
- Prepare HLD and LLD for Firmware development
- Interact with other design team members to meet and optimize product design requirements
- Interact with external services organizations for project work.
- Adherence to ISO quality process
- Assume additional roles and responsibilities as required and be able to work independently
- Perform first level of evaluation of aspiring candidates for role of Engineer
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with embedded hardware designing and Firmware development experience of 5 years to 8years.
- Must have excellent Hardware Electronics design skills
- Active and Passive electronic component selection
- Mixed signal design
- Analog Signal conditioner design
- 8/16/32 bit microcontroller based digital design and development
- Hardware issue and System level debugging
- Good to have Knowledge on process automation & Instrumentation
- Strong knowledge in C/C++
- Good programming & SW design skills
- Good to have knowledge on RTOS
- Positive to have expertise in OS based system development
- Must have an eye for details and have excellent experience of extracting, documenting and managing hardware design requirements.
- Good in drafting System Test Plan and System Test Procedure. Should have experience in testing and validation of designs.
- Good in detailing of Hardware Design.
- Experience of work with MODBUS RS485 and TCP/IP
- Should be willing to take additional responsibilities during the execution based on the business need.
- A willingness to learn is critical
