Job Position: Website Tester Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Website Tester Intern to help ensure the quality, usability, and performance of websites and web applications developed by Honeybee Digital and CityHangAround.

As a Website Tester Intern, you will be responsible for identifying bugs, testing website functionality, validating user experiences, and reporting issues to the development team. This internship is ideal for students and fresh graduates interested in Quality Assurance (QA), software testing, and web technologies.

Key Responsibilities

CityHangAround

- Test the CityHangAround marketplace platform across desktop and mobile devices.
- Verify business listings, user registration, login, search, product pages, and marketplace features.
- Test subscription plans, payment flows, and lead generation modules.
- Report UI/UX issues, broken links, and functionality bugs.
- Validate website responsiveness across different browsers and screen sizes.
- Test new features before deployment.

Honeybee Digital

- Test client websites for functionality, usability, and performance.
- Identify bugs related to forms, navigation, layouts, images, and content.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.
- Validate website speed, responsiveness, and accessibility.
- Prepare detailed bug reports with screenshots and reproduction steps.
- Work closely with developers to verify bug fixes.
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) before project delivery.

Requirements

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.




- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Basic understanding of websites and web applications.
- Good written communication skills for documenting bugs.
- Ability to follow testing procedures and report issues clearly.
- Willingness to learn Quality Assurance (QA) processes and testing methodologies.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Manual Testing concepts.
- Understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics.
- Experience using browser developer tools.
- Basic knowledge of bug tracking tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Trello, or GitHub Issues.
- Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser testing.
- Basic knowledge of SEO testing and website performance testing is a plus.
