About the Role

We are looking for a Production Designer (AutoCAD) with experience in the modular furniture manufacturing industry. This is a factory-based backend role, where the candidate will prepare production and fabrication drawings, coordinate with the manufacturing team, and ensure furniture is produced accurately as per approved designs and technical specifications.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience creating production drawings for modular furniture and a strong understanding of furniture manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed production, shop, and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD.
- Convert approved interior design concepts into manufacturing-ready technical drawings.
- Prepare detailed drawings for wardrobes, kitchens, bathroom vanities, TV units, modular beds, cabinets, and other custom furniture.
- Coordinate closely with the factory, production, and installation teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Resolve technical issues related to production drawings and manufacturing.




- Revise drawings based on site measurements, client changes, and production requirements.
- Ensure all drawings comply with manufacturing standards and quality requirements.
- Maintain drawing revisions and proper documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3–5 years of experience in modular furniture, joinery, woodworking, or furniture manufacturing.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
- Good understanding of furniture construction, hardware, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to prepare accurate production and fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, SolidWorks, or similar software is an added advantage.
- Valuable coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work from the manufacturing facility and support the production team.

Preferred Candidate

- Experience in a modular furniture manufacturing factory.
- Comfortable working in a backend production environment (not a client-facing design role).
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Experience:

- AutoCAD: 2 years (Required)
