Cost Accountant – Inventory & Controls

We are looking for an organized and analytical Cost Accountant to ensure accurate inventory control, timely accounting entries, and strong process compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and reconcile inward and outward movement of finished goods, raw materials, packaging materials, and other inventories.

- Ensure inventory levels remain within approved limits and report shortages, excess stock, or slow-moving items.

- Ensure all inventory and accounting entries are recorded accurately and on time.

- Coordinate with Data Entry Operators (DEOs), warehouse staff, and other team members to collect, verify, and validate data.

- Ensure purchase and accounting records are correctly reflected and reconcile with GST records (GSTR) wherever applicable.

- Conduct periodic physical stock verification, cycle counts, and investigate inventory variances with timely corrective actions.

- Analyze inventory reports, identify discrepancies,



and recommend process improvements.

- Prepare timely MIS reports and support management with inventory and cost analysis.

- Ensure adherence to company processes, documentation standards, and internal controls.

Requirements

- B.Com / M.Com / CMA (Inter/Final) or equivalent qualification.

- Solid analytical ability and excellent data organization skills.

- Advanced MS Excel knowledge (Pivot Tables, Lookups, Data Analysis). ERP experience will be an added advantage.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with DEOs, warehouse staff, and different departments.

- Detail-oriented, disciplined, and proactive in following up to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.

- Familiarity with GST reconciliations and inventory accounting will be an added advantage.

- AI tools proficiency will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
