We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Associate – Audit & Tax to manage client accounting engagements, oversee financial reporting, and ensure regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, client-handling experience, and the ability to supervise junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting for assigned clients
- Review journal entries, general ledger, and reconciliations
- Handle month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare and review financial statements (IFRS/GAAP/Local GAAP)
- Monitor accounts payable/receivable and cash flow
- Ensure statutory and tax compliance (VAT/GST coordination)
- Prepare management reports and financial analysis
- Supervise and review work of junior associates
- Coordinate directly with clients and resolve queries
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- 5-6 years of accounting experience (consulting/CA firm preferred)
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards
- Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP, or similar software
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong communication and analytical abilities
