Job Summary
The Retail Field Sales Executive is responsible for generating sales by visiting retail outlets, dealers, and customers in assigned areas. The role focuses on building strong relationships, increasing product visibility, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit retail shops, dealers, and distributors on a daily basis
- Promote company products (lighting, electricals, home automation, etc.)
- Generate new leads and convert them into sales
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Ensure proper product display and branding at retail outlets
- Collect orders and coordinate with the backend team for delivery
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Prepare daily visit reports and submit to management
Requirements
- Graduate in any field (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in retail or field sales
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Valuable knowledge of local market and retail network
- Ability to travel within assigned territory
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting
