Purpose of the Job:

The primary responsibility of this position is to verify that
quality is being maintained throughout the Production cycle

JOB DESCRIPTION

In-Process Quality Control (IPQC)

Saw Flux.

- Perform Physical monitoring of saw flux during production process as per SOP.

- Ensuring quality of saw flux as per standards mainly Sieve , Moisture , temp of HTK and LTK.

- Monitoring of batches and
batch wise traceability.

- Maintain the record of Sieve, Moisture and process parameters

Baking Process

- Ensure all the baking are followed as per Process card.

- If any deviation is observed, hold the
batches, and inform to Quality Head.

Wire Drawing.

- Perform Physical monitoring of wire during wire
drawing process.

- Ensuring quality of draw
wire as per standards mainly, wire diameter, rusting, ov-ality
etc.

- Ensuring wire drawing as per the defined codes
(AWS/BIS) and tolerances.

- Monitoring of batches and
batch wise traceability.

Wire Cutting

- Perform Physical monitoring of wire cutting
process.

- Ensuring wire length as per
defined standards.

- Ensuring proper
condition of wire cutting machine, if found any deviation from




standards coordinate with production team for rectification of
the same.

Extrusion/Forming Process

- Perform Physical monitoring of Electrodes extrusion
process as per the SOR.

- Maintain the
inspection formats as per defined SOP.

- Follow all
the parameters as per defined SOP/ process card of respective
running product.

Baking Process

- Ensure all the baking oven cycles are followed as per
SOP.

- If any deviation is observed, hold the
batches, and inform to Quality Head.

Packaging Process

- Perform Pre Dispatch Inspection (PDI) as per
SOP.

- Ensure compliance of packaging SOP to
maintain defined Quality standards.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience:

1. Diploma mechanical/B.E Mechanical

2. Work Experience: 0 – 3 Years in Process Quality

Essential Competencies :

Team member in this role must demonstrate.

- Valuable knowledge of AWS code, ISO 9001 and 7QC
tools

- Good understanding of CAPA and Welding
consumables.

- Excellent communication &
coordination skills

- Good Analytical Skills &
Analysis ability.

- Team work, critical thinking,adaptability
