Key Responsibilities:
Operate VMC machines safely and efficiently.
Load and unload raw materials and finished components.
Set machine parameters, tools, and work offsets as per job requirements.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and process sheets.
Monitor machining operations and make minor adjustments when required.
Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
Ensure components meet dimensional and quality specifications.
Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
Report machine malfunctions and production issues to supervisors.
Maintain production records and inspection reports.
Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of VMC machine operations.
Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T; symbols.
Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality inspection techniques.
Understanding of VMC tools, speeds, and feeds.
Basic knowledge of CNC programming is an advantage.
Positive problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Qualifications:
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Making, Production Engineering, or related field.
1–5 years of experience operating VMC machines (experience requirements may vary).
Working Conditions:
Manufacturing and machining environment.
Standing for extended periods.
Shift-based work may be required .
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹30,015.31 per month
