About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Machine Designer to join our engineering team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical design and be proficient in SolidWorks, contributing to the design, development, and improvement of machine components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and machine parts using SolidWorks
Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing
Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) reviews
Collaborate with production, quality, and procurement teams to ensure design feasibility
Support prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting
Maintain and update BOMs (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation
Assist in preparing GA (General Arrangement) drawings and assembly drawings

Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in machine/mechanical design
Proficiency in SolidWorks (mandatory)
Working knowledge of GD&T;, tolerancing, and engineering drawing standards




Basic understanding of materials, manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, sheet metal)
Positive communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred (Nice to Have)
Experience with AutoCAD or other CAD tools
Exposure to FEA/simulation tools
Knowledge of ISO/BIS standards

Location & Relocation
