About the firm B P V & Co is a Bengaluru-based Chartered Accountancy firm offering audit, taxation, accounting, and advisory services to businesses across sectors. We combine traditional CA practice with technology-enabled workflows to deliver accurate, timely, and effective client service.

Role summary We are looking for a diligent, detail-oriented assistant to support the firm's day-to-day accounting, compliance, and audit engagements. You'll work directly with the principal and gain hands-on exposure across a broad range of client work.

Key responsibilities Maintain client books of account in TallyPrime, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries

Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and carry out GSTR-2B reconciliation Compute and file TDS returns; assist with income tax return preparation for individuals, firms,



and companies Support statutory, tax, and internal audit engagements — vouching, ledger scrutiny, and preparing working papers Assist with basic ROC/company law filings and documentation

Coordinate with clients to collect data, resolve queries, and follow up on pending items Maintain organised digital and physical records for each engagement

Requirements B.Com / M.Com, or CA Inter (one or both groups cleared)

Working knowledge of TallyPrime and MS Excel Understanding of GST, TDS, and basic income tax provisions Strong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn Valuable written and spoken communication (English and Kannada preferred) Preferred- 3 years' experience in a CA firm or accounts role

Familiarity with GST reconciliation and comfort using accounting automation tools

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
