Job Description
Assist in the day-to-day functioning of the college library.
Issue, receive, renew, and reserve books and other library materials.
Maintain library records, accession registers, and circulation data.
Ensure proper shelving and arrangement of books, journals, and reference materials.
Assist in cataloging, classification, and indexing of library resources.
Update and maintain library databases and digital records.
Support stock verification and inventory management activities.
Guide students, faculty, and staff in locating library resources.
Prepare library usage reports and statistics.
Monitor library discipline and ensure a conducive learning setting.
Assist in organizing library orientation programs and awareness activities.
Support accreditation requirements such as NAAC, NBA, NIRF, and other statutory bodies.




Maintain records and documentation related to library activities.
Assist in implementing library policies and procedures.

Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Library and Information Science (B.L.I.Sc.) or Master's Degree in Library and Information Science (M.L.I.Sc.).
Basic computer proficiency and database management skills.

Experience:
1–3 years of experience in a library, preferably in an educational institution.
Freshers with relevant qualifications may also be considered

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
