We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and careful Showroom Assistant to maintain our showroom cleanliness, handle delicate inventory, and support daily store logistics.

Key Responsibilities

1. Showroom Cleaning & Display Maintenance

● Perform daily dusting, polishing, and cleaning of all displayed light fixtures, metal tracks, and display panels.

● Keep showroom floors, windows, glass counters, mirrors, and customer seating areas spotless and presentable throughout the day.

● Ensure front entrance, reception area, and restrooms are clean and well-maintained.

2. Stock Handling & Inventory Support

● Safely unload incoming shipments, crates, and boxes arriving at the store or stockroom.

● Assist with unboxing, inspecting, and carefully storing fragile lighting fixtures and electronic components in designated stockroom shelves.

● Help retrieve products from the stockroom for sales staff during client visits or for order packing.

● Assist in safely packing fragile items (using bubble wrap, foam, and cartons)



for customer deliveries and online orders.

3. Technical & Showroom Setup Assistance

● Assist the in-house electrician/technician when mounting, moving, or adjusting heavy lighting fixtures, display tracks, and showroom displays.

● Help organize tools, spare parts, and packaging materials in the workshop and stock area.

4. Hospitality & Daily Errands

● Assist the front desk with serving water, tea, or coffee to visiting clients and architects.

● Handle minor local store errands (such as purchasing basic store/cleaning supplies or delivering urgent documents nearby).

Required Qualifications & Attributes

● Experience: Prior experience as a showroom helper, store assistant, housekeeping staff, or warehouse helper in a retail store.

● Physical Capability: Ability to safely lift and carry boxes, climb step-ladders to clean displays, and handle fragile materials with care.

● Language: Ability to speak and understand Bengali and/or Hindi (basic understanding of simple English is helpful).

● Personal Traits: Honest, punctual, neat in personal appearance, and respectful in a customer-facing showroom environment.
