We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant work experience and possess strong expertise in API and web testing. As an SDET, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the design, implementation, and execution of automated test cases.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript or TypeScript-based tools and libraries.
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Web or Mobile applications.
- Perform web automation testing using Playwright to ensure application functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Perform API testing and automation to identify functional issues early in the test cycle.
- Collaborate with software developers and QA engineers to identify, track, and resolve defects.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
- Continuously research and implement best practices in test automation and quality assurance.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, frameworks, and methodologies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in software development and testing.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript programming.
- Hands-on experience in web and API testing.
- Strong experience with Playwright is mandatory.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, Agile setting.
