We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Production with a robust background in machining operations and production planning. The candidate will be responsible for managing shop-floor activities, optimizing production processes, and ensuring quality and efficiency in manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle programming and setup of CNC, VMC, and HMC machines
Supervise daily production activities and ensure targets are achieved
Plan and develop manufacturing processes, including selection of tools, jigs, and fixtures
Optimize cycle time and implement productivity improvement initiatives
Perform line balancing to ensure productive workflow
Prepare and maintain PPAP documentation as per quality standards
Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
Coordinate with quality and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations
Required Qualifications:
BE in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)
Experience:
10 to 12 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar role
Hands-on experience in CNC / VMC / HMC programming and machine setup
Key Skills:
Strong knowledge of machining processes and production planning
Experience in tooling (jigs, fixtures, cutting tools)
Cycle time reduction and process optimization
Line balancing and lean manufacturing concepts
Knowledge of PPAP documentation and quality systems
Good leadership and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage shop-floor teams effectively
Robust attention to detail and quality
Good communication and coordination skills
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
