Job Summary

Bliss & Brew Café is looking for an energetic, customer-focused Café Assistant to support the daily operations of our café. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers and provide friendly, qualified service.
Take customer orders accurately and operate the billing/POS system.
Prepare and serve coffee, tea, beverages, and light snacks as per café standards.
Display and replenish bakery products, ensuring freshness and attractive presentation.
Maintain cleanliness of the café, kitchen, counter, dining area, and equipment.
Handle cash, digital payments, and maintain billing accuracy.
Assist in receiving, storing, and managing stock and inventory.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
Support opening and closing duties of the café.




Assist the Café Manager in daily operations and complete assigned tasks.

Required Skills
Good communication and customer service skills.
Basic knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation (training can be provided).
Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace.
Basic math and cash-handling skills.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Punctual, honest, and well-groomed.

Preferred Qualifications
High school (10+2) or equivalent.
Previous experience in a café, bakery, restaurant, or retail outlet is preferred but not mandatory.

Working Hours
10-12hour shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as per the café roster.
One weekly day off.
